I have a Motorola E815 which I absolutely love. I bought a similar case and belt clip shortly after I got the E815 at the Verizon store and was never 100% happy with it. Due to an unfortunate situation, my original case and belt clip was rendered disfunctional, so I needed a new belt clip.

I like having the case to protect the phone as well.

This is the only case and belt clip I found that I was confident would come close, so I got it.

This case and belt clip is fabulous. The previous unit was extremely difficult to separate the case from the clip when the phone needed answering, so much so that I removed the case and the clip from my belt when I answered the phone. The release button on this unit is extremely easy to use, but not so much so that the phone falls off on its own. When on the clip, the case and phone are held securely. When the phone is returned to the clip, it goes back on without any effort, once again holding the phone and case securely to the clip. The clip also works very well on the waist band of blue jeans.

The plastic windows on the previous case would stick to the phone's windows making it very difficult to remove the case when the battery needed changing (which I do biweekly to ensure both batteries are kept charged). The plastic windows on this unit do not stick to the windows on the phone.

I highly recommend this case and belt clip to any E815 user. I haven't seen a V710, so I can't speak for that.

Nicely made, high quality leather, Would have been a 5.0 but the clip is a bit ridiculous. I immediately took the clip off and was very happy with my purchase. It is a perfect tight fit even with the extended battery. Super great price. -- Nice leather case fits great, even with extended battery

This is the best case I've been able to find for the E815, which is a moderately large phone by today's standards.

The case fits perfectly, is a decent leather, and snaps into the included belt clip. I would give five stars, except this is my third case. They last about a year, then the button which snaps into the belt clip tears out of the leather. I'm fairly gentle with the snap in/out, pressing the button on the belt clip to minimize the forces on the button. One who is less gentle might experience shorter life.

These are expensive at the phone store, but Amazon prices are excellent, so I don't mind replacing each year. Who knows, maybe next year I'll have a new phone! -- Motorola OEM phone case

The cell phone case in question does what it is intended to do. It sticks out a bit far when you have it in the belt clip, so you're going to look like a complete dork wearing it on your hip. I was more interested in something that would keep the phone from being damaged due to my inability to stop dropping it. To this end, the leather case has done a fine job. -- Completely Adequate

Great case with screen as well as body protection. The detachable clip is a bit bulky, but you get used to it, and it does come off. I'd definately recommend it if you have an E815. -- Nice case!
